Executive Board


Stefan Dürr is the founder, Managing Partner and Chairman of the Executive Board of Ekotechnika AG.

He was born in Eberbach (Rhein-Neckar district) in 1964. Stefan Dürr studied geo-ecology at Bayreuth University and was the first Western European trainee to go to Russia at the age of 25. In 1994, with support from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, he initiated the „German-Russian Agricultural Policy Dialogue“.

He also acted as a consultant to agricultural committees of the Federation Council and the Duma of the Russian Federation. In 1998, he started trading agricultural machinery and turned EkoNivaTekhnika into the market leader of the sector.

Stefan Dürr is member of the Management Board of Ekosem-Agrar AG as well as President of its Russian subsidiary EkoNiva.

In October 2009, Stefan Dürr was awarded the Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in recognition of his outstanding achievements in establishing and fostering German-Russian relationships in the agricultural sector.

Bjoerne Drechsler has been a member of the Executive Board of Ekotechnika AG since March 2017.

He was born in Wismar in 1975. Bjoerne Drechsler studied at HWR Berlin majoring in business economics. After two years in financial controlling at Schattdecor AG, he was appointed president and CEO of GEA Farm Technologies Russia, a Russian subsidiary of the German GEA Group, in 2005. From 2015, he also headed GEA AG’s equipment sales operations in Russia and Central Asia.

Bjoerne Drechsler is fluent in Russian and very familiar with both Russian culture and the agricultural machinery business as a result of his long-standing experience in selling GEA process technology. Moreover, he is well-versed and experienced in managing companies in Russia.

Supervisory Board


Olga Ohly is co-founder of the Ekosem-Agrar Group, from which Ekotechnika was spun off in 2011.

She has more than 20 years of experience in the agricultural industry. After having studied German language and literature as well as agricultural economics in Moscow and Berlin, Olga Ohly obtained her doctorate at the Institute of Economics, Labor and Administration in Agriculture of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

Mrs Ohly was Managing Director of Ekotechnika GmbH from April 2011 to March 2015 and is still Managing Director of Ekotechnika Holding GmbH, the majority shareholder of Ekotechnika AG. In addition, Olga Ohly has coordinated the German-Russian Agricultural Policy Dialogue project in Berlin for more than 20 years. In 2009, she was awarded the Stolypin medal‚ for her contribution to the development of the Russian agricultural sector‘.

Olga Ohly has served as Chairwoman of the company’s Supervisory Board since 25 August 2018.

Wolfgang Bläsi provides consulting services to small and medium-sized enterprises. He was a member of the Management Board and CFO of Ekosem-Agrar AG until the end of 2022. From March 2010 to September 2016, he served as CFO and Managing Partner of Ekotechnika AG.

Wolfgang Bläsi completed an apprenticeship in financial administration and subsequently studied technical business administration, from which he graduated with distinction. He began his career as a trainee at Hubert Burda Media. He then joined Novasoft AG, for which he prepared the IPO and worked for around eight years as Head of Accounting and Communications and later as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He subsequently became Managing Partner of ProClion GmbH, a management consultancy focusing on project development in the renewable energy sector.

Wolfgang Bläsi has served as Vice Chairman of the company’s Supervisory Board since 19 May 2017.

Rolf Zürn studied business administration at the University of Mannheim (Dipl. Kfm. degree) and the Kellog Graduate School of Management in Chicago (MBA degree).

He is owner and Managing Director of Zürn GmbH & Co. KG, which specializes in the distribution of agricultural machinery of the John Deere brand, as well as of Zürn Harvesting GmbH & Co. KG, a manufacturer of cutting units for combines and forage harvesters. Zürn Harvesting GmbH & Co. KG moreover produces special machinery, especially small plot combines, for the seeds industry.

Rolf Zürn has been a member of the company’s Supervisory Board since 23 October 2015.

Lars Bjarne Buwitt is a private attorney and notary. After completing his law studies in Freiburg im Breisgau, he passed a bar exam in Hamburg.

As a lawyer, he focuses on advising small and medium-sized enterprises and investors on corporate and restructuring law issues. Mr. Buwitt is regularly appointed by several Northern German courts as insolvency administrator and expert, also for enterprises, and is entitled to hold the title ‚Fachanwalt für Insolvenzrecht‘ (certified bankruptcy specialist attorney). Mr. Buwitt was appointed notary in 2019. He is a member of the Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of Lawyers and Notaries and of several professional law associations.

Lars Bjarne Buwitt has been a member of the company’s Supervisory Board since 19 May 2017.

Dirk Stratmann completed apprenticeships as an industrial merchant as well as an expert merchant for foreign trade and has many years of experience in the international agribusiness. For more than 30 years he has worked in different leadership positions for the world's leading agricultural machinery manufacturer John Deere.

Dirk Stratmann is founder and general manager of the consulting company 3L Teamwork GmbH, based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Furthermore, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Merz Financial AG, Zurich. Since many years he is also actively engaged in voluntary association assignments at the GAA (German Agribusiness Alliance), part of the Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations (OA), and the VDMA, German Mechanical Engineering Federation, Agricultural Machinery.

Dirk Stratmann has been a member of the company’s Supervisory Board since 6 September 2021.
